This website is operated by Dr. Paul J. Pavlik through Tracker Enterprises, Inc. (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this site or join the Healing Words email list, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your first name and email address when you sign up for Chapter 1, launch updates, or weekly insights. We also receive information you send when you contact us.
- Campaign information: when you subscribe through a link containing campaign tags (UTM parameters), we store those tags with your signup. They may identify the campaign, source, medium, content, or search term associated with the link.
- Service records: we record signup time, a consent version, and welcome-email delivery status. We use the request IP address temporarily to limit repeated signup requests. Our web server and service providers may also process technical request data, such as IP addresses and browser information, for operation and security.
How we use it
- To send you Chapter 1 of Healing Words, Volume 1.
- To send you launch updates, weekly insights, and information about the book and future volumes.
- To understand which campaigns lead to signups and improve the site.
- To operate and protect the site, manage email delivery, and respond to your requests.
Email communications
By subscribing, you agree to receive emails from us. You can request removal at any time by emailing pjp@trackerenterprises.com. The welcome email includes an unsubscribe-by-email link. Clicking that link opens an email draft; you must send the message to submit your request. Requests are handled manually, not by an automatic one-click unsubscribe system. Please send your request from the subscribed address or identify that address in your message.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us host and operate the site, store subscriber information, and deliver email through IONOS, and only so they can perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Digital book purchases
When PDF sales are enabled, Stripe processes payments and collects billing details needed for payment and tax calculation. We do not store card details. We retain the purchase email address, book edition, amounts, currency, payment references, order status, email-delivery status, and download-request count to fulfill purchases, provide support, and maintain business records. Private PDFs are stored in cloud storage and delivered using expiring access links. Buying the book does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Purchase records may be retained as required for accounting and legal obligations; contact us with questions about your records.
Cookies and browser storage
The signup form reads campaign tags from the page URL; registration does not require analytics consent. We have not integrated Google Analytics or a Meta advertising pixel. If you choose “Allow analytics,” we use a first-party cookie containing a random identifier for a 30-minute visit. We measure visits, form-start visits, new registrations, converting visits, and Amazon-click visits by campaign and date. These measurement records do not contain names, email addresses, full page URLs, or IP addresses. Existing subscribers are not counted as new registrations. The subscriber records described above are stored separately.
Your analytics choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. Use “Analytics preferences” at the bottom of the landing page to decline or withdraw permission at any time. Withdrawal stops future optional measurement and clears the analytics cookie; it does not erase already aggregated totals. Expired visit records are removed during periodic cleanup on analytics activity or admin statistics access. Daily campaign totals are retained for up to 400 days, with older totals removed at the next cleanup. If the site is inactive, cleanup takes place when activity resumes. Our server may temporarily use request information in memory to limit abuse. The application may also use temporary browser storage for technical error recovery and essential cookies for private admin login.
Data retention and security
We keep subscriber information while you remain subscribed. You can request deletion using the contact details below; we may retain information where required by law or necessary to honor your request not to receive further emails. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no online system is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, including California or the EU/UK, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact us using the details below.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults and healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Third-party links
Our site may link to other sites, including the Google Drive page hosting the free chapter, retailers, Instagram, or LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
